As I am approaching my 30th birthday I really have been thinking about how I take of my body, and my skin. When I was cleaning my bathroom the other day I realized I still had a 5 year old tube of exfoliator AND it was pretty full. I wash my face daily, I remove my makeup before I go to bed at night but I never seem to do masks or exfoliate and I think my skin is showing it.
So I picked up Prescriptives Immediate Smooth Skin Exfoliator last week. Great name, huh? So I figured it has to live up to it’s name, right? Oh it does.You rub this shimmering paste onto your entire face and neck (and the bottle says you can use it on your body too, I may have to rub it on my feet!) and rub it in for 30 to 60 seconds until the crystals seem to disappear. I did it and it wasn’t too rough or too grainy and my skin was glowing after one application. The saleswoman at the counter said I should use it no more than twice a week and don’t get too excited from the results and try to use it every day.
I’ve scheduled myself to exfoliate on Sundays and Wednesday…why am I already wishing it was Sunday again?
