This morning’s post isn’t really about a product, instead it’s about why I don’t really blog about haircare…
You see this little girl?

That’s me, dwj. I was probably about 2 maybe 2 and a 1/2 and I was not happy. Why? If you look closely in the background you’ll see that my mother is holding a brush in her hands. It was time to comb my hair. My hair was coarse, thick, wild and matted up very easily. Hair combing and washing was not a happy chore for my mother and even worse for me. What a way to start the day!
Needless to say, I got my first relaxer to straighten my hair at the ripe old age of 3! It was needed to control the crazy mess that is my hair above, it wasn’t super straight like I keep it today but just enough for my mom to manage. After that hair washing was a bit easier, but my hair is still a crazy mess of thick coarse hair and once I find something that can tame it I don’t really stray from my routine.
Sooo…I’m loyal to Carol’s Daughter’s hair oils and I live by deep conditioning cholesterol treatments every week.
So don’t blame me for not blogging about a bunch of haircare products. Blame my gene pool.
And if you ask me, I’ve got GREAT hair!
