Maybe it’s because I’m so angry – my MacBook is in the shop AGAIN! This time they’re claiming it’s bad RAM that needs to be replaced…I’m about to replace the MacBook if this doesn’t fix it. So today’s manicure is for when you’re angry or just want to go really dark.
Sinful Colors Nail Enamel in Black on Black was what I needed to let out some aggression. I’ve never done black nail polish. I’ve done some of the really dark purples, burgundies and greens that folks try when they want to go dark, but I’ve never ventured into black.
So I saw my cousin rocking her dark black nails and I decided to give it whirl…why not? I actually liked it more than I thought I would. It was kind of chic to me. The glossy black nails go with anything you’d wear, you don’t have to worry about your polish clashing. I will say, it looks best when applied to short nails. If you have long nails or acrylics, I wouldn’t go black if I were you.
Now hopefully I can get my computer up and running and do something bright and cheery next week. We’ll see…
