I have been in love with Hello Kitty since I can remember. I know I had a red coin purse in kindergarten with Hello Kitty’s face on it that I used to take my ice cream money in – so the obsession has lasted my lifetime. The other week when I saw a little girl wearing the cutest Hello Kitty rain boots my husband looked at me and said, “no, don’t even think about it.” Well….with the recent launch of the Hello Kitty line from MAC and me seeing those boots, I’ve been a bit Kitty Krazy!
So I ordered the Chooka Women’s Hello Kitty Punk Buttons Rain Boot because they’re way more mature than the little girl’s Hello Kitty rainboots, right? And then I went to MAC and picked up a few items from the Hello Kitty Collection.
I picked up the lipstick in Most Popular and the Lipglass in She Loves Candy, both are in the Hello Kitty Wild collection. The lipstick is a vibrant hot pink, but it applies sheer and you can layer it on to make a stronger lip color. The lipglass is a pearlized pink with a great sparkle to it. It’s fun and the packaging is probably my favorite part. I’d say definitely pick up a lipglass or lipgloss, they’re the best bets in the bunch.
I’m still and will always be, Hello Kitty crazy.
