Monday’s Manicure…

Okay, I don’t know what happened last week. Perhaps I was delirious but I had the entire middle of my Monday’s Manicure post not appear on the site. Sorry about that. What I wanted to tell you was that in the midst of all the craziness I treated myself to a LaMer Manicure from Rescue Beauty Lounge AND I got the chance to meet Ji Baek!

So that is my very beautiful manicure…My manicurist was a lovely older woman who told me I had very pretty hands and nails, they were just dry – and they were. So the LaMer Manicure was the perfect treatment for me. I had a very relaxing hour and a half long manicure with massage included and she shaped my nails to perfection. I don’t think they’ve ever looked that good. I picked the color Noisette for my nails (unfortunately it’s not for sale on the Rescue Beauty Lounge site). But what is available for pre-sale and what I can show you is a preview of the new spring 2009 colors Ji handed me while I was in the shop!

From left to right is Locavore, Frugalista, and Look Rich, Be Cheap. All super sparkly, grown up glitter with purple undertones – it’s like a little bit of sunshine in a bottle. And who doesn’t want a little sunshine during a recession? So you can look forward to me trying these out in the next few weeks and letting you know how they look. I can’t wait!
