When I went to the Makeup Show I was given a Luminess Tan airbrushing system and just like you’re thinking right now I thought, um…what the hell am I gonna do with an airbrush tanning system? I mean, I was born with a permanent tan but it was suggested that I use it to even out my legs and give them a bronze glow. Now that had me intrigued. So I pulled out the system, put on some short shorts and got to airbrushing.
These are my pale and uneven legs. I am brave by putting them on this blog for you all to stare at. To check out the results, click more below.
So it was fairly easy. Attach the bottle of spray solution to airbrushing nozzle and turn it on. Spray even strokes up and down my leg. It’s like washing a car with a small hose. So this is what I look like, at one leg done and one leg without. You can see the difference, right?
These are the final results. I was really surprised. My legs looked even and like I had been to the beach for a weekend getting a bit of sun. My husband even checked me out and did a little double take. We were both pleasantly surprised. I was excited to show my friends because who would actually believe that I would I would spray tan? And I was surprised by how many people want to borrow the system for themselves.
My suggestions though if you do purchase one or own one, spray yourself inside of your shower. My bathroom is white and I had a fine light brown mist everywhere I sprayed. Fortunately, it was easy to wipe up. You should also do this at night. You are supposed to exfoliate and then not put on any moisturizer and spray then let the color settle in for a few hours. So before you’re ready to go to bed is best so that you don’t have go around ashy during the day time.
Now what I wouldn’t mind…the makeup attachment to try airbrush makeup. That may have to be a future purchase.
