Sometimes I feel like my work week can really drag on and this was one of those weeks. It’s so hard to stay focused sometimes when the weather is nice and you just want to play in the sunshine. Perhaps all this wanting to frolic in the sunshine has been what’s making me nostalgic for my childhood and childhood things that I loved which brings me to this Friday’s Fabulousness…
It’s something so simple but so cute for summer, a simple red canvas sneaker. My personal pick is the Keds Champion Red Canvas (I don’t mind it in navy either).
Doesn’t every little kid have a pair of red shoe? Didn’t you? And how did that red shoe seem to magically go with everything your mother put on you? I kind of feel like that should be my summer staple. A bright pop of color to wear with white jeans/pants, a summer dress or shorts. Red sneakers are comfy and cute and make me feel like being a kid again. And isn’t that really what summer is supposed to make you feel like?
Ahh…to be a kid again.
