I started wearing glasses when I was 17 years old and then when I was 25 I just stopped. It’s not that I’m blind, it’s that my eyes get tired and I need them to help me focus after a while and I guess I just started to accept the strain. I know, I was just lazy to not get new glasses (and probably didn’t make them a budget priority). So after I finally made my husband go get glasses, I decided it was time to get some too.
I settled on the Kate Spade Cadence eyeglasses. Our eye insurance was pretty great, so I splurged a bit. What I love about these frames are that they’re a mix of teal, brown and a bit of a mother of pearl sheen to them.I think these say I’m smart but that I’ve also got a bit of personality and style.
Since I blog every day, stare at a computer screen all day at work and I’m getting a bit older, attractive eye wear is a must now. Just another accessory to add to my list.

Super cute! I splurged on a pair of Chanel eyeglasses last year and since they’re transitions they work as sunglasses too!
