Everywhere I look new palettes are coming out for fall, new shoes, new clothes. It gets to be a bit overwhelming because it’s still July and I want to enjoy summer before I start lusting after suede ankle booties and purple eye shadow. I realized I needed a compromise…
A summer boot! There are times when I would love to rock a little boot with my flirty skirt but it’s too hot for that. That’s why I’m smitten with the Nine West Skipper boot. It’s a perforated mid calf boot, perfect to wear now and pair with tights later. I love it in grey – that’s my preferred neutral of choice. Grey looks so great with bright color and I could totally see these boots with a coral dress I own.
Since I’m already on the subject of fashions for fall…I’m also kind of in love with the clog boot by Nine West too.
I know some of ya’ll don’t agree with my love of clogs, but I think the Epponie clog boot is an unexpected and cute piece of footwear. I’ll definitely have to try them on in store when they arrive to see if they really work for me, and I’ll definitely let you know.

I saw those first gray ones, too. Love. I think a summer boot is great. I usually wear mine with a short summer dress.
