I adore gray, and actually prefer to spell it grey so I’ll just keep spelling it that way from here on out…Now back to the fashion discussion. I adore grey because I think it is the perfect neutral. Not as harsh as black, not as muddy as brown can be and not as corporate as a navy. To me grey can be soft and romantic or deep, dark and brooding. What isn’t there to love? So how can you add some grey to your fall wardrobe?
The easiest way to incorporate grey is through your makeup and I love the DuWop Gray Eyes palette from an icy cool grey to a deep charcoal, they’ve got your covered. There’s a shade for everyone – and can I suggest that the brown you are the deeper the shade of grey you may want to try. Switch up your smoky eye and see how sexy it can be in shades of grey.
Are you a black liner devotee? Switch it up with a charcoal liner like Milani’s EYETECH Liquid Liner in Charcoal. It’s a softer choice that will still make your eyes pop.
I love grey accessories and think this Slouchy Suede Hobo is a steal! Pair it with your structured dresses or your casual weekend wear – it goes with anything and it’s roomy enough for all your stuff.
And if you want a versatile boot for the fall/winter try Steve Madden’s Cybul boot in grey. A tall flat boot to pair with jeans, slacks, skirts or dresses. Add charcoal or chocolate brown tights with these boots and you’ve got your bases covered.
