I go back and forth on the thought of actually purchasing oxfords. I'd love to wear them with skinny jeans and a frilly blouse- or a floral chiffon dress. That being said, I'm nervous about being able to pull them off. I blogged a few styles a while back - but currently the Steve Madden Steven "Tuxedo" style has my eye. http://www.shopstyle.com/action/loadRetailerProductPage?id=77227061&sbid=264280&sc=1

I love flats and my style usually has a preppy influence- so I don't know what's stopping me. Maybe it's fear of looking too poser-ish? I'll let you know when I go through with it- ultimately it's a DO in my book.

I kinda love them....BUT I'm not sure what I would wear them with? My Mom taught me all these dumb fashion rules when I was younger but somehow I just can't seem to stray far from them. Wearing oxfords were the tops of the shoe aren't covered is a faux pas in her book...oh you stupid rules I can't unlearn!
