Bobbi Brown Is Pretty Powerful

I’ve been pretty lucky lately. I’ve won a few prizes and had some great opportunities come my way but one of my favorite winnings recently was a part of the Bobbi Brown Pretty Powerful campaign. Bobbi Brown wants to encourage women to feel beautiful and her makeup is always a line that I recommend when dipping your toes into the beauty pool for the first time. It truly enhances what’s already beautiful about you.

So what did I get?

• Metallic Lip color in Coral Reef: It’s part of the new Cabana Corals collection. Unfortunately it’s too light for me, but it’s perfect for my Mom.
• Shimmer Lip Gloss in Sunset Beach: A very pretty sheer peachy gloss that will be great for summer.
• Plum Shimmer Brick: I’ve been dying to try a shimmer brick and this gives a subtle sheen with a great swirl of color. LOVE!
• Color Strip Collection, Aquamarine Palette: This is the latest production to the Bobbi Brown line and I’m obsessed with it. I was super excited that I won a palette because the colors in all of them were amazing and I wanted to get my hands on one so bad.

The palette includes 5 eye shadow colors and 3 lip and cheek pot rouge colors (and you already know how I feel about pot rouge). I have already done a few looks with this palette and I know I will probably wear out every color until there is nothing but dust left. I don’t think I could be happier with a contest win and all I had to do was tweet a response to @AskBobbiBrown. I’m telling you Twitter is a powerful thing!
