This Friday I am dragging! My legs and feet are aching. I think it’s a combination of all the walking in NYC last week, wearing sky high heels this week and standing around a lot. Honestly, if I could I would be sitting in a beach chair with my toes pushed deep in the sand.
Since I’ve been thinking about the beach and a nice vacation, I thought I’d do a Friday’s Fabulousness that was beach trip inspired.
The Lucky Brand Safia Espadrille comes in 7 different colors but I’m pretty drawn to their dazzling blue shade (and I love the fact that they’re named Safia and I have a cousin Safia too!). I love royal blue and peach together and it’s such a summer color combination to me. I could also see wearing these with a white and yellow outfit too. I could see these shoes with a lot of different color combinations actually.
I also love the rose details at the toe of the shoe, another girly twist. Now I will admit this, espadrilles aren’t the kinds of shoes I want to walk for hours in but I definitely would wear these with a cute outfit and running errands. They’re light and comfy and add a great pop to an outfit.
Perhaps I’ll convince the husband we need to drive down to the tiny beach about an hour from my house just so I can smell sand and see some water. Have a great weekend!
