Photographic Inspiration | Harper’s Bazaar August 2010

Over the last year I’ve been on a photography kick, more than my normal love of great photos. And in the last year I’ve upgraded to a DSLR so that might have something to do with it.

Last night at the gym I was reading through the digital issue of the August Harper’s Bazaar and I fell in love with some of the images from the Spanish Revival spread. These are two of the gorgeous fashion images shot by Alexi Lubomirski. Something about the arches and old architecture just spoke to me.

And I think really this one was all about the dress for me. I need to keep working out so I can be this fly in a dress like this.

Do you get caught up in the fashion magazine photography like I do? I love that I can just capture the image on my iPad while I’m reading it so I can add it to my inspiration board :)

I love photography. I stare at the magazines and try to figure out how they got the shot and what kind of lighting they used. I’ve been shooting models now for awhile and I’m always trying to use fashion mags as inspiration.
