I know some of you are going to ask why would DWJ even say Crocs are cute?! I know you’re questioning me just by the title of this post alone, but my outfit is cute! In 2008 I blogged about the cutest pair of Crocs I’d ever seen and was prompted to buy, these green maryjanes. Green shoes are to my wardrobe what I think red shoes are to most people’s wardrobes. They’re my pop of color, statement color shoe. I love a green shoe because that’s my favorite color. I love these You by Crocs maryjanes because they are the lightest, most comfortable pair of 3 1/2 inch heels I’ve ever worn. And every single time I put them on I get a ton of compliments. I was stopped 5 times on the street and once by a woman riding a bike on the day I took pics in this outfit.
I don’t wear these shoes as often as I should just because I don’t think my daily work attire requires a high heel (sometimes you just don’t want to feel overdressed at work). I was going to a casual DC Tweet-up after work that day and that morning those shoes just called to me, so I built an outfit around them. I knew I’d wear them all day and even walk from the bus the 2 blocks to the event and I wasn’t worried about my comfort at all. They’re so light and cushiony! I love them, no matter what you may think. The dress is one of my summer favorites I picked up at the outlets a few years ago. My only complaint is no matter how much I iron it, it always appears to have a bit of a wrinkle to it. You win some, you lose some.

Are you serious? Those are Crocs? I’m the first person to talk bad about Crocs but that green…and they are Mary Janes? **squeals** MUST.HAVE.THEM. And after looking at the site I see a few other pairs I need. Thanks for helping me spend my paycheck.
