Who am I?
I’m DWJ: A makeup-loving, shoe-buying, handbag-hoarding shopaholic who recognizes that style truly is an art form.
For me, Christian Louboutin and Manolo Blahnik are as inspiring as Pablo Picasso and Georgia O’Keefe. The high drama of a glossy red Louboutin sole strikes me just as much as a stunning O’Keefe painting of the Lake George landscape.
My idea of a great museum? The Saks Fifth Avenue shoe store so palatial it has its own zip code! HEAVEN ON EARTH! I could browse through those displays for hours , imagining where I would wear each and every delicious pair of pumps, platforms and peep – toes.
I know that looking good is about more than just following trends. It’s also about feeling good. It’s about that shoe, purse or eye shadow that makes you stop breathing for a moment when you see it for the first time. It’s about the right shoes making you walk a little taller, the right lipstick making you smile a little brighter , and the right bag making you feel like everyone is watching your every move.
Simply, it’s about the art of accessories!

I stumbled across your blog while looking for info on a shoe that took my breath away- it was lust at first sight- Steve Madden Empiire. I wanted to know who else was obsessing over this shoe. I don’t read any blogs regularly, but I really like your style . I’m glad I found you. @Laura I just saw that it was on clearance but I haven’t bought it. I tried them on and realized they were similar to another pair of shoes I owned so I didn’t HAVE to have them. But I’m glad you found me and your shoe dreams came true
