I’m wrapping up the final touches to the Gift Guide so that I can hopefully put it on the blog tomorrow! YAY! This year the Guide will be a little different, not as much narrative and definitely more pictures. I’m covering gifts for HER, HIM, BABY, HOSTESS and TECH folks. Gosh I wish I had a team of little elves to help me put it all together but it’s just me and my girlfriends who volunteered for photos. So I thought I’d give you a little preview of what’s to come…

There will be lots and lots of lipstick…you might even find the perfect shade of red!

I’ve got a couple of bloggers who are going to show you their holiday style (myself included). Oh and I’ve got a very sparkly little something to giveaway too! I mean it isn’t a holiday without giving something, right?

I know the Gifts & Glamour Guide is out and although many people like to think it’s a window into my Christmas Wishlist (I’m looking at you Mom), it is not. I love all the items I feature (I own some of them too) but I thought today I’d share what I’m wishing Santa would bring me.

No. 1 New shoes. If there’s one thing I’ll always want, it’s shoes. Last year I realized I didn’t have the shoe wardrobe that I wanted and in some cases needed. I’ve been slowly building my collection back up but I’ve got a few shoes that I really want (and yes, I’m still dreaming about these boots). I’m  in love with these Miz Mooz Hope Platform boots. I’m a fan of Miz Mooz and I love clog details.

No. 2 This adorable tote. I’m kind of obsessed with the Together Bag, Blue by Thursday Friday. A large tote with an iconic bag on the front, how can I not resist it?

No. 3 A Rose Gold Watch. I’m a sucker for anything clear, I’m into rose gold watches and I also love bling. This Michael Kors watch is perfection.

No. 4 A handbag for my DSLR. I carry my camera pretty much everywhere but I’d love to get a handbag made just for DSLRs and my lenses. The Kelly Moore Posey bag in slate grey in beautiful and functional.

No. 5 A new iPad case for Pierre. I like the graphic black and white pattern, the envelope style and the pockets to hold my extras. Plus it’s by Built NY so I know it will be washable and durable.

I’m sure I could list a million things, but these are the tops things on my list. What’s on your list?

I’m so excited for this year’s Gifts & Glamour Guide and I hope you enjoy it as much I enjoyed putting it all together. I enlisted the help of 18 of my girlfriends and we had so much fun. For 3 weeks we took photos and for the last month I’ve been pulling products and emailing PR folks – I think this one is pretty special.

So let me first say thank you to: Amelia, Andrea, Anne, Arienne, Carol, Erin C, Erin J, Genevieve, Hannah, Jessica, Juana, Kimberly (and little miss Kayla), Laura, Leah, Nikkia, Rebecca, Vyque and Yuvay. You are all gorgeous and I’m glad I can call you my friends.

And don’t worry, there will still be more holiday posts from me from now until I take a break for the holidays. I just couldn’t fit everything into the Guide. Enjoy and definitely let me know what you think and share it with your friends!

I’m all about the holidays right now as I work to put together this year’s gift guide! So first, let me apologize if my posting isn’t very regular over the next few weeks. I’m searching through email pitches, looking at websites, coordinating photo shoots with friends to try and bring together a great guide this year. I love getting to be creative but there are so many things I see and could blog about daily but am saving for the guide.

But if you missed me not posting yesterday, you can read my Accessories Wardrobe post I wrote for Wardrobe Oxygen! Go over there and show Allie’s blog a little love and leave some comments about your favorite fall and winter accessories, pretty please.

So the other day I got an unexpected delivery from my friends at QVC. They sent over the Philosophy Gingerbread handwash and lotion duo in this nifty little holder (it fits right at my sink!). And they sent me 2, so that I can pay it forward and give a little joy to one of my readers! How fun is that?

This little gift and giveaway is in conjunction with their All of the Joy None of the Craziness Contest on Brickfish.
