I was going to feature one of my favorite golf caps when I stumbled upon this gem online. Say hello to the Astro-Turf golf beret.
I’m so absolutely tickled by this that I think I would actually wear it…really! It would make me laugh and smile and I guess if golf does bring you happines, why not wear it? I’ll save my hats for another day and hope that someone sees this and buys it for themselves (or me!).

Lately I’ve been reading magazines and blogs for reviews on golf balls. Now that I play fairly consistently I figure I should try out the different options for golf balls that are out there, and boy are there lots of options!
I am currently carrying Nike Lady Karma golf balls and I absolutely love them! A box of 12 balls will run me about $20, not too low and not too high and I will admit, I like the swirly pattern on the ball itself despite the ball being white (I prefer playing with color…it has flare and it’s easy to find!).
The ball has a soft 50 compression core which is supposed to help you take the ball a little further and give you stronger ball flight. I haven’t noticed a difference in ball flight, but I have noticed that I can drive these balls a little bit further. So they’re a great addition to my golf bag.
Want to take the style factor up a notch? Order a set of 12 for $24 and get them personalized. Now that’s golf style!

Something about the Jamie Saddock Women’s Sleeveless Cotton Polo makes me think of a tornado. Maybe it’s the graphic circles across the polo mixed with my desire to suddenly become a female Tiger Woods every time I play and take everyone by storm! I know, I know…I dream very big.
So if I can’t be a whirling tornado of a player, why not at least dress the part? With this cool and breezy short sleeve polo made of wick away material (Don’t you just love that stuff? What did we wear before that?) at least you’ll feel the breezes on the course blow through you. So that is at least making you one step closer to being a force of nature.

With all the talk about going green and recycling, I try to do my part for the environment. Every little bit counts, right? So instead of picking up a bottle of water every time I play or a bottle of Gatorade, I mix my own sports drink, put it in a 32 ounce nalgene and slip it into my Builty NY 32 ounce tote.
This little neoprene sleeve keeps my beverage cool and I can hook it to my bag if I’m walking or drop it in basket on the back of my cart. This is the perfect companion to your game. It keeps me hydrated and happy and it’s super cute. They come in several colors and a very cute polka dot version too.
And lookin for something good to put in your nalgene? Try the Propel Powder Packet in Raspberry Lemonade! It’s the best new flavor!

What is it about golf that seems to be synonymous with plaid?
My current favorite plaid piece for the course is the Lady hagen Plaid Bermuda Shorts. A little pink and green, a classic combination, in a great knee length short. They’re made with a great wick away cotton and they’re light and breezy for the course. You can definitely make it through 18 holes in these babies!
