Comfort v. Cuteness…
I am a fashionista. I like trends, I love clothes, I lust for shoes, but I also have back problems. I have sciatica, and a disc in my lower back that swells and puts pressure on my sciatic nerve sending seering white hot pain from my buttocks to the arch of my foot. It hurts…BADLY. So sometimes, comfort is key and I try to find very cute and stylish things that are also comfortable, espeically when I’m going to walk the course.
Unfortunately, I’ve found the Crocs Ace Golf shoes. They’re like a blessing and a curse. A blessing because they are an absolute dream in comfort. I walked around in the Golf Warehouse with them on hoping my husband wouldn’t say what I knew he wanted to say. Oh course when I showed him the shoes the first thing he said to me was, “Oh hell no…put those right back where you found them.” And that’s the curse, they’re Crocs and they come with a bad style reputation.
I’m not ready to sacrifice my style game for my comfort but I swear they’re calling out to me every time I walk the course. For now, my Nikes will have to do.
