Today’s fabulousness is really more about you being fabulous than the product itself. With the Democratic National Convention and the Republican National Convention I felt inspired to do something about voting today.

This Friday I’m all about shoes. I’ve got a fabulous pair of shoes that you won’t believe featured on my other site, so you should definitely check them out. But today’s Friday’s Fabulousness for Golf Style is by Foot Joy!

I bumped into a display the other day at a golf store and knocked the Footjoy LoPro Active off the display and thought, well that’s a very sharp Footjoy!

I love the black and white with just enough of the hot pink to make it feminine. Of course because my husband was taking forever (he’s getting a new set of irons…which means he can’t buy any new clubs until 2013!) I had to try them on.

They’re very comfy and they fit my foot very snuggly. No slipping on the green when you’re wearing these. They can definitely go with most of what’s in my golf wardrobe. But alas…I own two great pairs of golf shoes already and I just can’t justify buying another.

So can you buy them and I can just swoon over yours?

Today’s Friday’s Fabulousness is a double post for me and a little different than golf (still sports related).

Today’s Friday’s Fabulouness is a little different. It isn’t about a thing you can buy or a product I love. It’s about a feeling.

A couple of weeks ago I talked about the Nationals Ladies Night event that my girlfriend and comedienne Erin Jackson was performing at. Last night was the night and it was such a fun and cute event. There was lots of great food, a good dj and of course Erin was super funny. We had tickets to sit in the Scoreboard Pavilion, but Erin got tickets for the Presidential Suite!! So…

Erin, myself, my sister Anne, Keisha and Yuvay all got to sit in the 2nd and 3rd row BEHIND HOME PLATE!

That’s the umpire’s butt I was staring at (and I didn’t even have to use the zoom!), and we got to see a lot of the very cute players up close and personal. We had an absolute moment of overall fabulousness. Waiters bringing the food directly to us, our family and friends calling up because you could see us on tv (my husband called from a bar in NYC and had us do a mini wave for him!)…oh and there was good baseball too. That Nats didn’t win, but we were having so much fun I don’t think we even noticed.

So enjoy a little fabulousness with your favorite girlfriends this weekend. We had a blast (Thanks, EJ!) and what mattered the most was having a great evening with friends.

When I go to the driving range or I play only 9 holes, I like to carry a small Sunday Bag with me. They typically can hold 4 to 6 clubs and you don’t have to lug your big bag with you. The one I own is a cute stand up bag in green that my Dad bought me on a whim. I always get compliments on it and I love it, but what I also love is the Puma Quiver Golf Bag. Now this is even cuter!!

This bag comes in three colors that I’ve found online: Pink (pictured above), Lilac, and Green (my personal favorite). It has 4 dividers built into the bag to separate your clubs, a padded shoulder strap, ample pockets for balls and electronics…it’s got all the features of your regular golf bag but shrunk down for a smaller game.

This is definitely something fabulous for your Friday.

On The Art of Accessories I ended my first week of blogging with a feature I call Friday’s Fabulousness. I choose an item that I love to death and feature it as the best of the week. So I’m going to bring a little Friday’s Fabulousness to Golf Style. So without further ado…

Ahhh…there’s something about slipping a golf glove on that makes me feel so in control of my game. Like I’m making a statement, “I’m here to play!” Of course as soon as I have my first bad hit, that confidence seems to drop a little bit…but hey, at least my glove looks good.

I love that women’s golf gloves don’t have to be just plain old white. You can express your personality with the glove you choose and there are so many options out there. My favorite line of women’s gloves are Glove It gloves. The patterns are bold, colorful and vibrant. Right now my favorite is this Pucci inspired print and it’s on sale! Even better!
