The Art of Accessories: Golf Style

I haven’t seen much or had much to write about in the world of golf style lately. I’ve been waiting to find lots of wonderful things to share, but I just haven’t found as much as I would like out there. So, if you know of something or a site that might peak my interest, leave it in the comments (the 2 of you that read this blog) and perhaps I’ll get back on the golf blogging wagon.

Welcome to Friday everyone! I’m so happy that the weekend is here! I’m exhausted but I’m playing 9 holes immediately after work with friends, so that will get my weekend off to a great start!

This Friday’s Fabulousness is from my favorite designer, BURBERRY. Ahh..I love that beige, black and red plaid. It warms my heart. What I love even more, the Burberry Ladies Golf Glove. It comes in white, black (my pick) and pink. The velcro closer is lined with a subtle touch of plaid. It’s so cute and the leather is soft as butter. It’s my kind of glove!

It’s also a great treat for a golfer you love. No one ever thinks to spend that much on a glove but they’ll think of you every time they wear it.

I’m hoping someone treats me for my birthday this month with one (hint,hint husband!).

On The Art of Accessories I ended my first week of blogging with a feature I call Friday’s Fabulousness. I choose an item that I love to death and feature it as the best of the week. So I’m going to bring a little Friday’s Fabulousness to Golf Style. So without further ado…

Ahhh…there’s something about slipping a golf glove on that makes me feel so in control of my game. Like I’m making a statement, “I’m here to play!” Of course as soon as I have my first bad hit, that confidence seems to drop a little bit…but hey, at least my glove looks good.

I love that women’s golf gloves don’t have to be just plain old white. You can express your personality with the glove you choose and there are so many options out there. My favorite line of women’s gloves are Glove It gloves. The patterns are bold, colorful and vibrant. Right now my favorite is this Pucci inspired print and it’s on sale! Even better!
