I’ve been tracking all of the NYC fashion shows and I had to check out what Lacoste was going to present.
How fabulous would it be to play in this outfit? I love the green and white checkered polo and the printed cropped pants. It’s so fresh that it doesn’t even matter how your game play is when you look this good!
If only I had the budget…

I saw this skort and immediately fell in love. The Puma Patterned Skirt with built in shorts isn’t described as a skort. It’s too modern and sleek for that title. It’s described as a skirt with built in shorts.
I want to describe it as something wonderful. I love the grey pattern with the golf ball pattern thrown in here and there. It’s the epitome of modern cool for the golf course. It’s traditional but with a very modern twist.
Very stylish. Very cool.

I absolutely love an empire waist cotton dress in the summertime. They’re light and don’t stick to you on a hot day, plus whenever you put on a dress you ultimately look more put together (or at least that’s how I feel). So when I start finding cute golf dresses like the Three Tees Golf Dress from Bella Golf Wear I get super excited.
Things that I love about this dress. It has an empire waist. The color is super saturated and vivid (great with your summer tan) which I absolute love. And, it has two very big pockets to put balls and tees in.
Add a cute little white (or yellow) cap and you’re good to go! This may need to be added to my golf wardrobe…August sure does get hot and I’ve got to stay cool and be cute.

I play a lot of golf with men. My husband and his friends. I just don’t have that many women in my life that play golf and I’m not playing in a league this summer so my female interaction on the course is pretty much at zero. Even though there isn’t a lot of estrogen surrounding me, I still like to feel pretty when I play. One of the few feminine options for the course are skorts. I know, the word skort makes me think of the 6th grade but skorts are really functional for play. Shorts underneath and a skirt on top with pockets for ball and tees.
My choice for a skort today is the Liz Claiborne Faux Wrap Golf Skort. I like this colorful leaf print pattern and it’s giving me the feeling of wearing a wrap skirt with it’s faux wrap. It’s all about the little details that make it special.
Wearing something like this, the fellas definitely can’t mistake me for just one of the guys.

This weekend I had the pleasure of helping my sister pick out her first set of golf clubs. She’s starting lessons next week and got a great set of starter clubs for a steal. It made me think of when I bought my set of Wilson’s Hope Golf Set a few years ago. I’ve added clubs and changed a bit, but I still have my set and I think it’s the best investment that I ever made. Now if I could buy any set that I want right now, I’d get these:

the Wilson Staff Luxe Premium Set. The set includes: 14° Driver • 2 Fairway Woods • 2 Hybrids • #6-PW (50°) • SW (56°) • Putter • Bag and is described as offering “…a tee-to-green solution for the discriminating woman golfer. Manufactured from high performance materials with an attention to detail, every component of the Luxe Premium Set says luxury. With its sleek finish and gleaming irons, there’s not a sexier set of equipment on the market today.”
Sexy indeed!
