I haven’t seen much or had much to write about in the world of golf style lately. I’ve been waiting to find lots of wonderful things to share, but I just haven’t found as much as I would like out there. So, if you know of something or a site that might peak my interest, leave it in the comments (the 2 of you that read this blog) and perhaps I’ll get back on the golf blogging wagon.

For now, you can definitely find me at The Art of Accessories.

Friday’s Fabulousness

This Friday I’m all about shoes. I’ve got a fabulous pair of shoes that you won’t believe featured on my other site, so you should definitely check them out. But today’s Friday’s Fabulousness for Golf Style is by Foot Joy!
LoPro Active #97061
I bumped into a display the other day at a golf store and knocked the Footjoy LoPro Active off the display and thought, well that’s a very sharp Footjoy!

I love the black and white with just enough of the hot pink to make it feminine. Of course because my husband was taking forever (he’s getting a new set of irons…which means he can’t buy any new clubs until 2013!) I had to try them on.

They’re very comfy and they fit my foot very snuggly. No slipping on the green when you’re wearing these. They can definitely go with most of what’s in my golf wardrobe. But alas…I own two great pairs of golf shoes already and I just can’t justify buying another.

So can you buy them and I can just swoon over yours?

Have a fabulous Labor Day weekend! I’ll be celebrating my 30th tomorrow and I’ll be back up and blogging on Tuesday.

Open Toe Golf Game

SANDBAGGERS LANA STARDUST WOMEN’S
Hmmmm…I’m torn. I don’t know how I feel about the Sandbaggers Lana Stardust Shoe. It’s a cross between a flat golf shoe and a peep toe.

I love a good peep toe! Who doesn’t want to show off a great pedicure all summer long? And I hate the sweaty feeling you get after you take your socks off when you’ve played 18 holes of golf. But peep toes for the golf course?

I know I’m not traditional, and I like to step outside of the box, but perhaps  this is too much for me to try? Maybe when I’m shopping for a new pair of shoes for next season I’ll get up the guts to try something new!

Maybe.

Traditional With A Twist

Puma Golf
My sister had her first golf lessons yesterday and she enjoyed herself! YAY! You know we’re sisters though because her highlight was when a classmate came up to her after class and asked her where she got her shoes from! We do want to play well, but we also have to look good while we’re doing it. So that made me search through some of my favorite golf shoes.

How cute are the Puma Lynks Golf shoes? They’re a sleek Puma style but with a very traditional golf shoe styling to them. I love them in black but they come in a rainbow of colors. They have Puma SmartQuill technology so you don’t have to have the cleats but still have the stability. You can also take the kiltie off the top of the shoes and wear them into the bar after you’ve finished playing your round.

You can mix style with sports.

It’s Gotta Be The Shoes

Nike Air Summer Lite
If you’re a reader of The Art of Accessories then you already know that I’m obsessed with shoes. Platforms, Heels, Flats, Clogs, you name it I love it. So my obsession for shoes has easily spilled over into golf shoes.

My latest golf shoe acquisition? The Nike Air Summer Lite Cadet in green and white plaid. I know, I’m slightly obsessed with plaid, but plaid goes with golf! Two reasons why I love these shoes:

  1. You don’t have to wear socks with them if you don’t want to. Seriously. The top is open at the laces and they’re really ventilated. I’ve worn socks and thought it looked a little dorky. When I didn’t wear socks, I didn’t even notice that I didn’t have any on!
  2. They’re super supportive and have great ventilation. When you’re playing in July and August you can’t help but feel sticky and wet. Why worry about hot sweaty feet too?

I love these shoes!
