If you’re a reader of my other blog The Art of Accessories, then you’re fully aware that I’m looking forward to fall’s hottest color, purple. What you may not know by reading this blog is that I’m a big fan of Paula Creamer. I think she’s a great player, but she also dresses very cutely and plays with a pink ball at times. So it justifies my love of colorful golf balls.
Today I’m digging the Blossoms Colorburst Collection Golf Balls in Purple Rain. Why? Because it’s purple AND they named it Purple Rain. That’s like the best Prince Album ever…a timeless classic. So perhaps I will sign ‘Purple Rain’ while I’m playing and channel my inner Paula Creamer?
Doubt it, but at least my golf balls are cute!

Oh and if you don’t believe me about Paula Creamer, check out her ad for Precept balls below:
This Friday I’m all about shoes. I’ve got a fabulous pair of shoes that you won’t believe featured on my other site, so you should definitely check them out. But today’s Friday’s Fabulousness for Golf Style is by Foot Joy!
I bumped into a display the other day at a golf store and knocked the Footjoy LoPro Active off the display and thought, well that’s a very sharp Footjoy!
I love the black and white with just enough of the hot pink to make it feminine. Of course because my husband was taking forever (he’s getting a new set of irons…which means he can’t buy any new clubs until 2013!) I had to try them on.
They’re very comfy and they fit my foot very snuggly. No slipping on the green when you’re wearing these. They can definitely go with most of what’s in my golf wardrobe. But alas…I own two great pairs of golf shoes already and I just can’t justify buying another.
So can you buy them and I can just swoon over yours?
Have a fabulous Labor Day weekend! I’ll be celebrating my 30th tomorrow and I’ll be back up and blogging on Tuesday.

I know that we’re entering into fall, but I love playing in a great pair of shorts and a long sleeve polo and golf jacket. Something about the crisp fall air compared to the oppressive humidity of July and August in DC is just refreshing. I’m not as worn out at the end of a round as I am in the summer.
I have a couple of basic long sleeve polos and I wanted to find a cute pair of bermuda shorts to pair with it for the fall. I immediately fell in love with Pink Tee’s Floral Bermuda Shorts.
The floral print is a bit wild but I love the classic black and white print and the red band. Add a red hat and I’m cute as a button for a weekend of 18. I can’t wait for fall to be in full swing!
As my 30th birthday is getting nearer I’m realizing I don’t really have any goals in life and everyone keeps saying, “when you turn 30 you really start to think about the future.” Not I. I’ve been looking forĀ goals and then all of a sudden they slapped me in the face…
Recently, my very stylish and cute cousin had the opportunity to interview Nina Garcia about her latest book The One Hundred: A Guide to the Pieces Every Stylish Woman Must Own. I didn’t pick up the first book, because I like pictures and she only has illustrations in the book, but my cuz (that is short for cousin) convinced me that I should pick up both of the books because the illustrations were fabulous (and timeless) and the books were really good.
So I listened, but what I’ve discovered is that I can now use Nina Garcia and her book The 100 as part of my goals!! Are you confused? I know, it’s random, but somehow I got to this point.
My latest goal for 30 is going to be to see if I can own all 100 of the 100 stylish pieces every woman should own as described in Nina’s book. I may not get all 100 because I doubt I will agree with or love all of them, but hey, it’s something to try. I may even make up my own list along the way and add a few essential golf pieces to the list.
Lofty idea? Yes.
Tangible? For a shopaholic like myself, I again say yes.
I’m going to read the book this weekend on my flight to Boston (YAY for Rebecca’s wedding and my 30th birthday!) and I’ll keep you guys up to date on how much progress I make on my 100. I may even make my own list of 100 along the way.
I mean a girl’s gotta have goals, right? Did you create any goals for a significant birthday?
