Friday’s Fabulousness…

Happy Friday! I got a lot of great feedback from yesterday’s post about How To Accessorize with Tights! Keep emailing me your thoughts, and leave comments about what you want to see more of. Also I made an error and wrote the wrong email address for the Shecky’s Night Out ticket giveaway. Email me by 6pm EST today at with your name and email address to enter. If you entered before and didn’t get an email back, I never got your entry. Sorry!

This Friday is special. Today is my Mom’s birthday {HAPPY BIRTHDAY, MOM – I LOVE YOU!} and when I was thinking of what to feature for Breast Cancer Awareness month and I thought of one great way for this Friday. By contributing in the memory of someone else’s Mom. My blogging buddy Caroline from Morningside Mom recently lost her mother. Her mother was a breast cancer survivor and her death was tragic and unexpected.

Caroline, has started The Gail R. Carlson Memorial Fund through the Susan G. Komen Foundation and when I thought of ways to get my readers to contribute, for me this was the best way possible. So if you have even $5 to share, please make a donation through her page. It’ll make you feel really good.

You know what else makes you feel good? Pretty things.
I’ve been kind of obsessed with pearls lately, but I don’t do traditional so the Aqua Multi Faux Pearl and Ribbon Necklace is right up my alley. Varying sizes of pearls strung on black ribbon, traditional with a twist! That’s always my favorite kind of way to make a statement and the price is just right at $38! Love it!

Have a fantastic Friday everyone!
