Monday’s Manicure

It is a Monday and even though I’m slowly easing my way back into blogging I thought I’d share my manicures I did over the holidays. For some reason I’m stuck on using two colors in my manicures, so you might see that a lot in 2010. I have so many great colors that I like to mix them up. Plus, I think glitters are hard as hell to remove so I kind of like only painting one nail with glitter for the impact and less work. So for Christmas I went a little red and green, so festive.
The red creme is China Glaze Salsa (I got it when I won a set of nail polish on Twitter). I love this bold red creme, pretty fabulous. It’s a true blue based red. On the thumbs is China Glaze Ruby Slippers and the green glittery pointer finger is China Glaze Emerald Sparkle. Pretty festive, no?
For New Year’s since I wasn’t going anywhere I went for something soft but sparkly. I pulled OPI Moon Over Mumbai out of my stash and added a little sparkle with China Glaze Tinsel. I love the soft opaque grey of Moon Over Mumbai and the Tinsel on just two nails on each hand was just enough spark to make my new year special.

What did you do to add a bit of holiday cheer to your beauty routine? Do tell!
