I realized I haven’t done a ton of Monday’s Manicures this year, but there’s just been so much other stuff to talk about. Since I’ve been makeup less for another week and can’t share a Beauty Challenge, I thought I’d share what’s on my tips.
Today I’m talking about my latest drugstore find, Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure. This color is Fairy Teal, a really rich blue green creme that is super glossy. It’s a mid tone teal, so it’s not as dark as my favorite Rescue Beauty Lounge Teal and it’s not a minty green either. It’s right in the middle and I think this shade is absolutely gorgeous.
The Complete Salon Manicure is kind of cool because it has Base Coat, Strengthener, Growth Treatment, Color, AND Top Coat all built into one bottle. It doesn’t dry super fast, so I use Seche Vite top coat to make sure I’m dry as quickly as possible, but I have to admit I’m impressed with this nail polish overall. It wears really wear over a week, and that’s always key for me when picking a brand of polish. It’s the same price as I’d pay for an Essie or China Glaze ($8) but with CVS or Walgreens coupons I’ve been getting bottles on sale or for a few dollars less. There are currently 42 shades and a lot of times the displays seem to be picked clean. The shades range from bright neon pinks, to trendy muddy greys, to traditional shimmering pinks and reds. So far I’ve tried Fairy Teal, Lavender Cloud (I’ll show later) and Haute Chocolate, a deep shimmering brownish red that my mother requested I find for her after she saw my sister’s manicure.
So overall, I’m giving the Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure nail polish thumbs up! Have you tried any of the other colors? What do you think?
