I mentioned on Friday that I was going to go see the Bare Escentuals Quickie Van since they were in DC on Friday, I did and I’m so glad I did. Now I’m a dedicated Bare Escentuals fan. I love the mineral makeup, the eye color, the Buxom line (hello Buxom Lash!) and the folks at BE sent me a Roadie pass so when I met up with the Quickie Van they would know I was a big supporter. All of the ladies at the Quickie Van were so bubbly and fun AND they were wearing pink Chuck Taylors to match the van! As a Chucks lover, this just sealed the deal on my love of BE.
Despite being such a huge fan, I always like to see what makeup artists will suggest for me with the brand they work for. It’s always great to get a new idea, tip or trick to keep my makeup fun and fresh.
Brooke was my makeup artist (picture with me above) and she was super sweet and fun and had AWESOME tattoos (totally jealous). She taught me a new trick, I should use my Warm Radiance powder as an eye shadow too. Never thought of using it for that but I love it! Brooke gave me this warm, natural glow. It was so soft and pretty and I quickly duplicated the look the next day. I also now need the Iced Coffee lipgloss she put on me too, I was kind of glowing. I love Bare Escentuals because it just makes me feel pretty, and so natural.
I walked away with a little container of the Faux Tan all over color (which is amazing on my eyes as well), Flawless Definition Mascara (which is giving my beloved Buxom Lash a run for the money), moisturizer and a coupon for 20% off online, at Ulta or a BE Boutique. If you haven’t tried Bare Escentuals yet, YOU SHOULD! And check their website to find out when the Quickie Van is coming to your area.
