How To Accessorize | Me & My Boyfriend…Cardigan That Is

Purple Sweater
Remember last week when I met Leslie Blodgett of Bare Escentuals? Well I snapped a couple of pics of my outfit before I hit the road. I’m going to be honest here, full disclosure…I pretty much live in my $14 jeggings. They’re better than sweatpants (although those are my 2nd option on some days).  Since I knew I was going to be in the car that day I decided I wanted to be comfy and cozy and it was a bit chilly that day. Since I also knew I’d be in the car I had to wear flats, why? Because both of our cars are stick shift and I can’t shift in heels and I get irritated by taking my shoes on and off. Especially boots.

So I built an outfit around my black jeggings adding a grey and white striped long sleeve T shirt from Target and a deep gorgeous purple boyfriend cardigan from Target for a good dose of color. I’ve been searching for a purple eye shadow that is the same shade as the cardigan and I think I may have found it in a Bare Escentals color ironically…but I’ll talk about that in another post. I decided to throw on my beloved bird’s nest necklace since it picks up so many colors and I threw on my favorite green turquoise cocktail ring. Since I knew I’d be lugging the iPad and my camera around I grabbed my pink patent LeSportsac to keep the vibrant color going, plus it picks up on the pink in my necklace. Add my favorite pull on leather boots from Nine West and I’m good to go all day long.

For me, this all goes together. For others, this might be a bit on the too many colors side, but that’s just how I roll. So what do you like to wear for comfort and style when you’re travelling?

What I’m Wearing: Jeggings, Costco | Merona Ultimate Long Sleeve Tee, Target | Mossimo Boyfriend Cardigan in Plum, Target | Boots, Nine West | Bag, Courtesy of Lesportsac | Necklace, Queen Bee Designs | Ring, Gift from Parents

  1. I love this look!! I recently tried this look but used a scarf in place of a statement necklace and I got a ton of compliments! I was thrilled at how completly comfortable and stylish this outfit is!
