Family Feeds the Soul

I honestly haven’t cooked a lot recently. My life has been filled with just enough prepared food from Whole Foods to exist for weeks at a time. I kind of feel like life is a bit of blur. A good blur, but a blur either way you look at it.

Last week on Tuesday I took a moment to really enjoy my dinner. I shared a fantastic meal of $2 fish or chicken tacos at Argonaut in Northeast, DC.

It. Was. Good.

So were the black beans and rice, a new addition to the menu. But you know what was really great? The fact that for a solid 2 hours I laughed and enjoyed good food and even more wonderful company. No tweeting or texting. Only laughing and eating.

Despite feeling like my life is always swirling and moving, it’s very good. I hope yours is too.
