August 30th | 33 in 33 for 33

Today is my 33rd birthday. YAY! I’m a big girl now. Last night I was at Oriole Park at Camden Yards and saw a 33 for a player and had to take a picture, I thought it was so appropriate for me and this birthday. So first let me give you a quick update on my 33 in 33 for 33 list. I did not finish but I’m definitely going to keep going.

  2. Knit a scarf for my Mom
  3. Finish a project from knitting class (cowl or fingerless gloves)
  4. Sew a simple skirt with fabric in my stash
  5. Sew a zippered bag with fabric in my stash

  18. Play at least 9 holes of golf
  19. Bake something new
  20. Bake something for my office

  26. Hang out with someone new
  27. Read a book

  33. Finish the gallery wall of images in my living room

The ones I still have left are really things that cost me money or were delayed due to the hurricane. So I think I can still complete them in the next month.
I love celebrating birthdays (mine and others). I don’t worry about getting older, I’m happy that I’m still here and that I am surrounded by such great friends and family (you blog readers are included in that list of friends too). I love my birthday because it reminds me that 33 years ago I was born into this really great family that has loved and supported me from the moment they knew I would be joining their family.

I am a really lucky woman and this is going to be a really fantastic birthday.

I hope you have a wonderful day too πŸ™‚
