Buxom True Hue Blush

Buxom True Hue Blush
If I could only have 3 beauty items for the rest of my life I know without a doubt that blush would always be on that list. I’m a huge blush lover and I’m the person who changes her blush daily based on mood and makeup palette. I do not understand how folks can wear the same blush every single day. That just perplexes me.
In December I came home to a package from the lovely ladies at Bare Escentuals introducing me to the new Buxom True Hue blushes available at Sephora now in eight colors. The colors shown above from left to right are:

  • Euphoria: a really gorgeous bright coral
  • Rendezvous: a shimmering berry
  • Luvitate: a shimmering nude shade
  • Swept Away : a peachier nude shade

Out of the four my favorites are Rendezvous and Euphoria, they’re colors I would naturally pick for myself. I’ve actually used the other two as highlighting shades to compliment the more bold colors. What I love about these blushes is that they’re incredibly fine powders so they go on light and build up to create this gorgeous flush of color.

I love using a big fluffy blush brush to really get a great application of color on my cheeks. The brighter colors really do pack a nice punch and you don’t need a lot to create great impact. They are definitely rich in pigment. I’ve actually got Seduction on my Sephora wishlist to pick up next time I got to the mall. I’m always in the mood for a gorgeous bright pink blush, it just wakes up my skin.

The blushes are priced at $24 each and I definitely think that’s worth the price. They’re gorgeous and give a great color payoff. Has anyone else tried these new blushes yet? Let me know what you think!

  1. I have actually been looking to expand my blush collection. I think I’ve been using something a little too neutral and it doesn’t give me any real color. I will definitely check these out at Sephora!
