I went to an apple orchard last week with the husband. We didn’t pick nearly as many as we did the last time we went but we still got a great mix. I’ve only been snapping pictures with my phone lately and the few I’ve taken with my camera are still on my memory card but I thought since it’s Friday I had to at least share this.
I made apple turnovers for the first time. OMG – so good. My husband told me I knocked it out of the park on this one. I sauteed down some apples, cinnamon, brown sugar and nutmeg and then overstuffed puff pastry sheets and made turnovers. I even whipped up a little glaze of milk, confection sugar and vanilla to drizzle over the top. Like heaven in a bit. Have a good weekend!
