When the Mood Strikes

I haven’t been blogging that much lately and I realize I haven’t wanted to that much right now. In the past at this time of year I’d be planning what to do for the Gift Guide but I decided against doing a guide this year. It takes a ton of work on my part and a lot of coordination and I just don’t have the energy or desire to do it all by myself. Don’t get me wrong they were fun, but they’re so much work! So what has been filling my time? Knitting, cooking, taking pictures and relaxing in between it all. This year my husband and I resolved to stop jamming our weekends with stuff and to actually relax and only do what we really want to do. Sunday he played golf while I took pictures of my godson and then knit for a few hours. Then we came home, had dinner together and watched TV – it was a divine Sunday. I also set up a small ecommerce site with a few items I’m going to knit for the holiday since friends have requested things from me so much. I talked about doing an Etsy shop but I feel like I need more inventory and it’s a lot of pressure. So I’m doing it on a smaller sale with lots more control and I’m totally okay with it. If you’re interested in seeing what I’ve got, send me an email and I’ll send you the link. I so still plan to post here on the blog but just when the mood strikes me, it’s my blog so I guess I can do whatever I want to with it🙂 Right?

  1. That sounds so relaxing and positive! I’ve actually been blogging more but only when I find it relaxing, otherwise I’ve been doing writing offline.

I’ve always been curious about knitting but I’m not the most talented with sewing type things.
