Disclosure Policy

I’m putting up an official disclosure policy on the site because of the FTC regulations (and you can read my thoughts about it all here).

This policy is valid from 01 December 2009

Product reviews are based on my opinion. Even if a product is given to me for free for review, it doesn’t affect my opinion of the product. Some products are not personally touched and held by me but are images of things I like and want to share. Makeup and beauty products are items that I’ve tried and test and will state my honest opinion in my posts. Not all samples given to me are reviewed.

Affiliate links are links that if you purchase an item I will receive a commission based on that sale. I have used minimal affiliate links in the past but will continue to use them and will annotate that in the post. Ads on the sidebars of the blog and the RSS feed are advertisements from affiliate networks that help to pay for the hosting of this blog.

This blog is a personal blog written and edited by me. This blog does not accept any form of cash advertising, sponsorship, or paid topic insertions. However, we will and do accept and keep free products, services, travel, event tickets, and other forms of compensation from companies and organizations.

The compensation received will never influence the content, topics or posts made in this blog. All advertising is in the form of advertisements generated by a third party ad network. Those advertisements will be identified as paid advertisements.

The owner(s) of this blog is not compensated to provide opinion on products, services, websites and various other topics. The views and opinions expressed on this blog are purely the blog owners. If we claim or appear to be experts on a certain topic or product or service area, we will only endorse products or services that we believe, based on our expertise, are worthy of such endorsement. Any product claim, statistic, quote or other representation about a product or service should be verified with the manufacturer or provider.

This blog does not contain any content which might present a conflict of interest.
